– India’s Mukesh Ambani is the richest man in the world, but his company’s profits took a hit in the third quarter thanks in large part to the H1N1 virus. Per Reuters, India’s Reliance Industries posted a 15% drop in quarterly profit, to $1.29 billion, which was in line with analysts’ estimates. The company’s oil and gas business took the biggest hit, with refining and petrochemicals revenue down 36% and 23%, respectively. But the company’s telecom business did well, with revenue up 33%.
