– Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell says he’s open to passing a bill to aid small businesses and hospitals dealing with the coronavirus, which has now infected hundreds of people in the US, Reuters reports. “I think that will be something we’ll need to do right at the beginning of the year, targeted particularly as small businesses that are struggling and hospitals that are now dealing with a second wave of the coronavirus,” McConnell said in an interview with conservative radio host Hugh Hewitt. “I think that will be something we’ll need to do in early 2021, possibly closing the door to such legislation shortly after the Nov. 3 elections.”
